I'm András Kecskeméti

With 16+ years of experience bridging business goals and technical solutions, I lead cross-functional teams, deliver end-to-end projects and create tools that improve workflows and remove friction. My career combines engineering leadership with a hands-on maker mindset, from enterprise-scale platforms to indie game development.
I focus on:
Engineering Management & Team Coaching – guiding developers, designers and specialists through mentorship, building trust and fostering clear ownership of outcomes.
Technical Delivery & Automation – creating internal platforms and workflow automation that accelerate delivery, scale operations and improve developer experience.
Game Development & Creative Technology – building and publishing 12+ Unity prototypes across multiple genres, with recognition in global game jams and currently leading development of a commercial indie title under my studio, Surfing Seagull Games.
Currently, I manage digital teams at Vodafone Intelligent Solutions (front-end, UX/UI, social media and automation) while also pursuing indie game development that blends creativity with technical excellence.

Games, Prototypes

Golden Path: Reborn
Based on my 2021 solo gamejam game – which ranked #6 overall (out of 101) and #2 in Best Gameplay – I’ve been developing a roguelite puzzle game for the last year.

Divine Defense
Recent gamejam game I’ve worked on together with 2 programmers and 2 designers. I was responsible for the enemy system (navigation, spawning, waves, etc), the audio system and worked on the gamedesign too.
Ranked #77 overall (out of 1,086) and #31 in Game Mechanics.

ATM
Airport Traffic Management. A game prototype to manage the unloading and loading of airplanes on airports. System to highlight: job queues, event driven managers, level manager.

Time Attack
A mini action game created for a game jam where it got ranked 1st for the theme category (Running out of time).

Delivery Hero
Top Down 3D, pizza delivery game. Key systems: Traffic system (waypoint based with branching, reactive to surroundings), delivery system (from and to, time tracking, etc).

The Pompom is not real
A small action memory puzzle game created for a game jam.

Sheep
You need to herd sheep to target areas on several levels. Key systems: progress tracking, level manager and the movement controllers which are based on navmesh.

Fruits
A match-3 game, built for Android. With custom hand drawn fruits.

Escape Room
A game prototype I created in 2017 with Unreal & C++. I programmed and integrated two custom puzzles to this FPS game.
